Rumah Charis was honored to receive visits by athletes from the National Sports Council during the year. The national wushu team demonstrated some kungfu moves to the amused elderly audience during their August visit. They also helped to clean the old folks’ home and sponsored a sumptuous dinner. The national karate team brought KFC packs for lunch to the children home during the Deepavali season and handed out angpows.
